Environmental Milestones: Decoupling Growth from Emissions
Our 2025 results demonstrate that operational growth can go hand-in-hand with environmental stewardship. Most notably, we successfully halved our global corporate emissions (-53%) compared to 2024.
Key environmental achievements include:
- Renewable Energy Leadership: We reached 51% renewable energy in our global electricity mix.
- Solar Power Success: The 1,000 kW solar rooftop installation at our factory generated 1,330,000 kWh of clean electricity, avoiding 709 tonnes of CO2 emissions and cutting the factory’s electricity bill by 40%.
- Decarbonisation Roadmap: We have committed to operational carbon neutrality by 2035 and have set science-based targets.
Driving the Circular Economy
In an industry traditionally reliant on carbon-intensive steel, Cowin Global is leading the shift toward circularity. We believe that the most sustainable product is one that lasts, which is why we focus on Extended Product Life.
- Waste Diversion: In 2025, we directed 92% of our industrial waste to recovery and reuse, successfully diverting it from landfills.
- Total Cost of Ownership: Our bespoke maintenance and repair services have been shown to increase asset life by sevenfold, significantly reducing both capital expenditure and environmental waste for our clients.

Our sustainability efforts are driven by the dedication of our 180-member global team. We pride ourselves on a culture of safety, inclusion, and long-term loyalty.
- Diversity and Inclusion: We maintain a balanced leadership team, with 46% of management positions held by women.
- Employee Retention: We are honored by the commitment of our staff, maintaining an 86% global retention rate, with over half of our China-based team serving for more than 10 years.
- Recognized Excellence: Our commitment to best practices earned us the EcoVadis Bronze medal and the renewal of our global ISO certifications.
